How it Works

The Visa™ Electronic Card can be used to purchase goods or access cash in all types of merchant environments, from typical retail transactions to mail, telephone and Internet transactions.

Since it is a signature card that carries the Visa™ flag, the card can be used at any location that accepts Visa™. This includes merchants both with and without an electronic terminal to authorize the transaction. When using the card, cardholders must verify their identity by signing a receipt at the point of sale, or entering their personal identification number (PIN). Visa™ is accepted at 30 million physical locations including 924,000 ATMs worldwide.

The Visa™ Electronic Card can also be used for purchasing online using the cards CVC# Security Code.

Availability

Now anyone can have a Visa™ Electronic Signature Card account. Your name will not appear on the card. This new system guarantees an electronic, checkless and virtual bank account for anyone. Cardholders enjoy flexible funds access with or without bank accounts.  On receipt of your card it can be activated the same day.

Loading Funds

Money can be deposited to the debit card at banks and post offices in designated countries (see faq) and from other card holder accounts. Employers, governmental agencies, etc. can load funds into your card account.
